About
A supplier, not a showroom.
Banbury Impex was founded in 1998. For more than twenty-five years we have done one thing: make cloth and garments that hold their quality at a price brands can build a season on.
We are part of a USD 60 million group with interests in textiles, lighting, IT peripherals and real estate — which means the units are backed by a balance sheet rather than by a season's orders. For a buyer, that is the difference between a supplier who can fund your programme and one who needs your advance to start it.
Today we supply more than 250+ customers across 40+ countries and six continents, from three production units in Maharashtra.
How we work
We quote what we can hold.
A price that moves after you have costed your season is worth nothing. We would rather lose the order than win it on a number we cannot keep.
We make it ourselves.
The cloth comes off our looms and the garment off our floors. Nothing is bought in and relabelled, which is why we can answer a question about a fault instead of forwarding it.
We build to your spec, not ours.
Construction, blend, width, finish — and for garments, sizes, trims and packing. A standing range is a convenience for the mill, not the buyer.
Someone replies.
Mumbai hours overlap the working day in Europe, the Gulf and the American east coast. An unanswered email is a lost order, and we treat it that way.
