Roughly half of what we make leaves as fabric and half as finished garments. Buying both from the people who wove the cloth means one conversation about quality, not two.

About 120 Toyota air-jet looms, around 1.2 million metres a month. Yarn-dyed checks, stripes and structures, and the plains that sit beside them.
